February 19, 2014 – The ACE Cash Express Community Fund is proud to announce that it
has capped off a decade of community commitment by donating $946,000 to organizations
throughout the nation in 2013. Over the last 10 years, the ACE Community Fund, ACE’s
corporate‐giving program, has donated more than $8 million to fulfill its mission to help
children, provide education and promote financial literacy in the communities it serves.
“The Community Fund is something that everyone at ACE is very proud of,” said ACE CEO Jay
Shipowitz. “Thanks to our hard‐working associates and the generosity of our customers, we
have worked together to help thousands of people in need.”
Since the Community Fund’s inception, ACE has donated more than $3 million, made in
partnership with NetSpend, to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, more than $200,000 to
Junior Achievement and more than $100,000 to Back on My Feet.
“ACE Cash Express has made a significant impact on our mission to save lives,” said NBCF Founder & CEO
Janelle Hail. “Their support has helped NBCF provide tens of thousands of free mammograms and early
detections services for women in need in all 50 states.”
Each year, ACE has two major fundraisers: Think Pink Month, benefitting the National Breast
Cancer Foundation, and the Give a Little Campaign, benefitting local organizations chosen by
ACE associates. In 2011, the ACE Community Fund expanded to include the creation of a
financial literacy curriculum which provides fundamental lessons of money management taught
by ACE associates.
In addition to the dollars ACE has raised and donated, ACE associates give hundreds of volunteer
hours each year and will continue providing for organizations that empower the communities
they serve.
